2. Installation of a 150,000 Litre Rainwater Harvesting Tank
Museum Of South Australia, SA

This project involved the installation of 1500 AUSDRAIN™ EnviroModules to form a 150 000 litre Rainwater Harvesting System.

The tank was landscaped with a lawn surface and pedestrian pathways and was completed in May 2004.

A gross pollutant trap filters water prior to entering the tank system so that there is no need for long-term tank maintenance.

The liner was supplied separately by the contractor and welded on site.

EnviroModules are assembled.   Pit is excavated and base prepared.

Geotextile is laid over base.   Liner is laid to base and sides.

EnviroModules are placed inside liner.   Geotextile is laid over tank surface prior to back-filling.

The area is landscaped with lawns and pathways.
