The AUSDRAIN™
EnviroModule Re-use System is a cost-effective and
flexible solution to underground stormwater storage
requirements. The high compressive strength and durability
of the modules enables them to be installed in light
to medium trafficable areas such as; under driveways
and carpark areas, thus making the most of valuable
and often limited land space.
The required number of EnviroModules
are used to create the storage capacity. There are
9.6 modules required to create 1000 litres of storage.
Therefore, you would require 96 modules to create
a 10 000 litre tank.
The modules are then encased in
either a factory welded liner that is made to size
as per the specification or a Low Density Polyethylene
Membrane (LDPE) depending on job requirements. Both
liners meet Australian Standards AS2070 Part 2 for
potable water use.
The AUSDRAIN™ EnviroSump(s)
or a Gross Pollutant Trap (GPT) filters the water
before entry into the tank avoiding the need for long
term and costly tank maintenance. In the event that
the tank surcharges, excess water is discharged through
an overflow pipe to a designated outlet.
Finally, a suction line is inserted
inside the tank and connects to an above ground pump
system. The pump is selected according to irrigation
and pressure requirements.
The modular flexibility of the
system gives designers the scope to specify tank dimensions
that best suit a particular project. |
