1. Townhouse Development - Warners Bay, NSW

This project involved the installation of a Detention Tank to capture run-off from roofs at a townhouse development. A total of 10 cubic metres of AUSDRAIN™ EnviroModules were installed. The modules were surrounded in Geotex 401 Filter Fabric and Canvaccon Liner to create the Detention Tank.

EnviroSump Filtration Units have been installed to filter the water from downpipes so that clean water enters the system. A pre-cast concrete pit is installed to one side of the tank and is fitted with maxi mesh trash screens as a secondary measure to prevent any debris from entering the tank. The pre-cast pit is also fitted with an orifice plate that is connected to council stormwater lines. As the pit and tank fill up, the water is slowly discharged via the orifice plate.

The detention tank minimises the discharge to the council mains at any one time and combined with the filtration process, prevents discharge of fines and gross pollutants to nearby Warners Bay.

EnviroModules are installed by hand and surrounded in the fabric and liner.   The tank is completely encased in the liner and connected to a pre-cast pit containing the orifice plate and trash screens.
