DELTA PT
Moisture blocking studded membrane with plaster base gauze for damp basements, with rear ventilation. Plaster can be applied or plasterboard attached.
Material
Special, high-density PE and HDPE gauze. Is non-sensitive to cold, harmless to drinking water and cannot rot when installed.
Properties
DELTA-PT forms a watertight, sturdy base for gypsum and cement mortar plaster. Plasterboard can likewise be easily attached. With its 8mm studs, DELTA-PT creates a ventilated gap between damp basement wall and plaster. Moisture is drawn off via ventilation slits at floor and ceiling, with plaster and wallpaper remaining permanently dry. DELTA-PT can also be used as tunnel insulation.
Application
DELTA-PT is laid overlapping in vertical sheets and fixed using nail plugs at 30cm intervals to the damp basement wall. A ventilation slit of at least 10mm must be left near the floor and ceiling in order to ensure good rear ventilation.
